  • Small and Medium Industries have always been the midstream support for a nation's economic growth. Thus, this award is in respond to the government's active support for industrial development and upgrade, by ways of encouraging industrial participation in electronic commerce and networking, to increase their competitiveness, subsequently moving towards an era of globalization.

  • Entrepreneur Development Association hopes to feature substantially strong and stable businesses in the market, with excellent performance in all areas, which pioneered in significant contributions towards the society. They would serve as a model in this age of e-economy and subsequently lead to the development of an "Asia Pacific /Malaysian Credible Business Community". This would improve the industry's overall image, and furthermore encourage other enterprises to actively participate in this area, to accept changes and innovate, and to establish competitive advantages, in order to embrace the challenges posed by the electronic-era.

  • To enhance and develop opportunities for communication and interaction between local and foreign enterprises. Also create opportunities for industries to learn and emulate from each other, forming more joint co-operations as in order to contribute more significantly towards the economic development of the Asia Pacific.
